The 26 years of American Business Council is a clear evidence that a milestone has been reached in the friendly relationship and business partnership between Kuwait and the United States of America.
A quarter century is the length of time the American Business Council has been active in Kuwait. It is a challenge to keep alive an organization such as the American Business Council anywhere outside the United States. Our Members both Corporate and Individual, as well as our Board of Directors change frequently; such is the nature of being ex-patriots. But despite the changing cast of players, our organization attempts always to follow its mission to enhance trade between Kuwait and America. This effort to foster closer business ties between our respective countries via our interaction as trading partners yields the additional benefit of greater cultural understanding and ties. Our mission is worthwhile because trade between nations creates power, progress and prosperity for both nations and its citizens.
Each new group of Members in our organization and each new Board has made its unique contribution to the mission. We have reached out to both Kuwait's governmental leaders and its business leaders to work with us in our effort and they have always responded to our request for help in every way. For that we owe our hosts, the State of Kuwait, its citizens and residents our deepest gratitude.
At the American Business Council we remain committed to constantly renew our work to ensure our organization makes a meaningful contribution towards increasing trade between Kuwait and the United States of America.
